ARTWORK GUIDELINES

All artwork submitted is assumed to be in full compliance with the laws governing copyright, trademark, etc.
By placing orders, customers agree to hold full responsibility for any damage, costs and expenses resulting from the use of the artwork

MINIMUM ORDER – The minimum order is one case. 

PRICING – Printing, plate charges and freight are in addition to the product cost. 

QUANTITY PRICING – Products (paper bags, plastic bags, boxes) may be combined for the minimum printing charge as long as the same plate and same color are used. Orders requiring a different plate size or a different color cannot be combined to meet the minimum printing charge. An order involving two plates for two different product sizes constitutes two separate jobs. Each job will be priced separately to determine printing charges. Orders for combined products (bags & boxes) will be priced at the higher minimum printing price. Example: 250 shopping bags and 250 boxes will both be priced at the higher minimum if combined. 

LEAD TIME – Imprinting is our specialty. You can expect a quick turnaround once the art is approved. 

UNDER RUN – Orders are subject to a 5% under run; the full order quantity will be invoiced. CUSTOM COLORS – There is a $75.00 charge per color. 

PROOFS – A proof will be provided for final approval. A press proof is available for a charge of $50.00. 

ARTWORK – Print-ready artwork is required; otherwise additional art charges may apply. Faxes are not acceptable for reproduction. Artwork must be submitted with fonts or outline type. All non-standard fonts must be supplied. Artwork must be submitted in a vector graphics format using Adobe Illustrator. 

ART PREP – $50.00 flat fee charged for basic art preparation and copy changes when supplied art is not print-ready. 

ART DEVELOPMENT – $100.00 per hour with a 1 hour minimum for developing art for post printing. This includes: creating logos or art from concept, changing low resolution files to vector files, finding specific fonts when not identified or supplied by customer, changing multi-color art to single color and other more complicated art requests. 

ART DEVELOPMENT REQUESTS – Submit art and art development requests to neil@marleepgk.com. You will receive a quote for approval to proceed. Art charges will be invoiced along with job cost.
